Before embarking on this fitness journey, I think it is important that you understand something about me:
I love to organize!
Organization helps me to not forget things. Without post-its and calendars, I’d be late for everything. Here are a few of the items that I plan to use to help me stay organized and on-track with my weekly goals:
My Planner — My obsession with these planners began in 7th grade when my middle school forced all kids to use them to keep track of their homework assignments. I’ve been using them ever since.
I currently use two planners; one for my studies, and one for my workouts. Since this is a blog about my journey to a hot bod, and not on my journey to graduation, we will just pretend that I’m not super weird and the academic one doesn’t exist. Kay? Kay.
My Gear Fit — This little device is so handy! I just wrap it around my wrist in the morning and it keeps track of all my steps all day long. I have it linked with my phone so that I can monitor my steps on a daily, weekly, monthly, and even yearly basis. Super nifty!
My lunch bag! — If you are anything like me, you love to eat. Especially if what your eating begins with “Wing” and ends with “Stop.” Judge me if you want, they are f*%$ing delicious. So in attempt to eat healthier, I bought lots of cute little containers to help me pack my lunch, and sometimes breakfast, ahead of time to avoid the temptation of fast food. It really helps to prepare everything and pack before hand, so that in the morning when your hair takes longer than expected you aren’t rushed for time. I’m actually super excited, because the UPS guy JUST delivered these little yogurt parfait containers! I can’t wait to start using them!
